The Fortnite Battle Bus is an iconic figure in the popular video game and became a great attraction for fans of the game and customers of Walmart through this Point-of-Purchase (POP) display for retail.
With over 20 different vendors featuring products on this train, we skillfully coordinated the receival of goods in a timely manner for pack out and shipping. This POP display was designed to capture the Fortnite game in an innovatively creative way while managing a short timeline for manufacturing, pack out and delivery to be executed within a few weeks. Developed to showcase and highlight all the products that were to fit inside it, which included toys, games, game cards, apparel and collectors items, the retail display needed to be structurally-sound while being aesthetically pleasing and drawing attention to the gaming and toy products. This POP retail display also required setup from Walmart employees so we provided detailed instructions and made sure the display aligned with Walmart’s retail guidelines.
It functioned as a great social media opportunity for the brands involved as it provided customers and fans with an imaginative, fun background for photos and videos. The products featured in the display were sold out within just 4 days of hitting stores.
Promax, the global entertainment marketing association, recognized this as the best POP display at the 2019 Promax Games Awards.
