In an era where the digital landscape is constantly evolving, ensuring online safety has become a top priority. With [Safer Internet Day 2024](https://www.saferinternetday.org/) approaching on February 6, Bay Cities has joined this global movement toward a safer internet. We have taken this opportunity to shed light on our commitment to cybersecurity and highlight the proactive steps we take to safeguard our digital environment.

## **A Proactive Partner**

At Bay Cities, we take various measures to ensure internet safety and cybersecurity. We employ the top cybersecurity measures to protect our digital infrastructure, ensuring the confidentiality and integrity of both our internal and customer data.

Knowing that a well-informed team is crucial to maintaining a secure online environment, our IT department conducts comprehensive employee training programs and requires ongoing education through [KnowBe4](https://www.knowbe4.com/), the world's largest platform for security awareness training. This training equips our employees with the knowledge and skills to detect, block, and prevent online security breaches.

## **Staying Vigilant**

Our IT department, in collaboration with KnowBe4, regularly disseminates "Security Hints & Tips” emails to all employees in order to reinforce these teachings*.* These communications serve as a valuable resource, offering practical insights and reminders on staying alert in the face of potential online security threats.

Additionally, our IT team goes beyond education by periodically conducting tests to evaluate our employees' vigilance in identifying possible online security threats. These simulated scenarios help strengthen our collective defenses, ensuring that our team remains resilient and well-prepared against evolving cyber threats.

## **Joining Together for a Better Internet **

As a forward-thinking company deeply invested in the power of technology and innovation, we recognize the profound impact that the internet can have on our lives and on business. In line with [our commitment to corporate responsibility](https://blog.bay-cities.com/blog/recruitment-campaign-week-2-post-sustainability-jan.-2024), on Safer Internet Day and every day, Bay Cities proudly [pledges ](https://blog.bay-cities.com/hubfs/Safer-Internet-Day-2024-Certificate%20Signed.pdf)our unwavering commitment to creating a digital landscape that prioritizes security and responsibility. Together, let's make the internet a safer space for all.
