Stories of #WFH – 7

Working from home is the new normal for many workers in all industries. Finding the balance isn't always easy when your home life and work life suddenly become one. At Bay Cities we want to highlight the stories of our great workers as they #WFH. In todays #WFH story Linda, who works in our marketing department, walks us through her work from home experience. Keep reading to find out her biggest take away from #WFH. 

What is your #WFH routine?

I always start my day by making my bed. Then I head downstairs to make my coffee and log on for work. I like to stick to my normal work schedule as much as possible, so I take my breaks at their normally scheduled time.

What is your favorite part about #WFH?

Being able to tend to my plants everyday and cooking myself food 😊

What is the most challenging part about #WFH?

Not being able to transfer phone calls

What are you reading?

Infinite Resignation: On Pessimism by Eugene Hacker

What are you watching?

The Sopranos

How are you staying fit?

Yoga on my lunch and then I go for runs after work

What is your socializing strategy?

Facetime!

How do you buy necessities?

The roommates and I will take turns going to the store. We try to go once every couple of weeks.

What is your biggest take away from #WFH?

Truly impressed by everyone coming together and making it work, regardless of what is happening around the world.
